Scotsdale Farm. Frozen in time and cold Canadian winter

Frozen in time and cold Canadian winter the Scotsdale Farm is glowing in the beauty of ice and snow.

Enter from Trafalgar Road and begin your hike by following the blue blazes of the Bennett Heritage Trail as it heads east. Just beyond the barn is a pond created by a dam over Snow’s Creek, a tributary of Silver Creek. Continue the loop around the farm or watch for the paths in the snow to find your way.

The former Scotsdale Farm is one of the nicest places near Georgetown. Large meadows, old growth forests, streams can be walked on 4 trails.
The first trail, the Bennett Heritage Trail officially opened on Canada Day in 1992.
The main Bruce Trail runs through here as well.
