Limehouse trails. Rock cracks at the site of the historic limestone kilns

The beautiful limestone kilns at  the Limehouse Conservation Area make this trail very special. Less than 5 kilometres of trail might refrain some hikers from visiting but it is a wonderful trail with limestone kilns and ruins.

Trails:
Radial Rail Trail / 0.8 km
Bruce Trail / 2 km
Black Creek Side Trail / 1.5 km

There are trails such as the Niagara Escarpment, the Kiln Trail and the 1.5 kilometre Bruce Trail. Even though these trails are not very long, it will definitely be a adventurous hike climbing through the rocky crevices and climbing the ladders!

Limehouse kilns date back to 1800’s represent an important part of Ontario’s past associated with the Niagara Escarpment’s natural resources.
