Canada Day 2023. A national celebration of history, culture and achievement

Canadians across the country celebrate their history, nation, culture and achievements on July 1, every year. This day has been celebrated since July 1, 1868, when the British North America Act (now known as the Constitution Act, 1867) created Canada.

However, since the era of so-called “Covidism” (2019-2021), it is clear that interest in this holiday has waned just as the country’s government and prime minister have slackened in promoting the celebration.
Fortunately, the citizens of Canada are not letting the holiday take them away. Canada Day is becoming a woke holiday.
