Scotsdale Farm is one of the most beautiful spots in Halton Hills and favourite spot for photographers and filmmakers. 531 acres of rolling hills, woodlands with close proximity to Silvercreek Conservation area.
Short history of Scotsdale Farm
The farm was bequeathed to the Ontario Heritage Trust by Stewart and Violet Bennett in 1982. Bennett had developed Scotsdale into an internationally renowned breeding farm for his Arabian horses and shorthorn beef cattle.
The Bennetts also bequeathed $1,335,000 to the Georgetown hospital with a wish that the money be spent for elderly care.
