New Acton Library is finally open on 17 River Street, Acton, Ontario. The Official Opening Ceremonies took  place on Saturday, February 26, 2011 and in case you missed it, have a look at the pictures from the event.

The new building is triple the size of the original library - 9,000 square feet and is built up the LEED certifications. It offers large collections of books, more Internet stations, quiet rooms, children's area and a meeting room. It is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, and offers new resources such as new DVDs, music CDs, books on CD and popular magazines.
