It is about creating safe and healthy communities where everyone has access to health care services and enjoys a healthy lifestyle. It also entails having a balanced tax assessment ratio which is balanced between residential and non-residential uses. The attraction and presence of 'green-minded' businesses, flexible regulations to accomodate a variety of businesses, and competitive business costs are some of the other characteristics of economically sustainable communities."
