Walking is the easiest way to be active. Simple tricks like parking at the furthest end of a parking lot force you to be more active.
A 30 minute walk, four to seven times a week will only help your health. You should aim for 10,000 steps a day, and include a brisk walk. To measure how many steps you take, borrow a pedometer from the Halton Hills Public Library. Laughing at counting your steps? So did I, but it’s not such a bad idea. Count it for a few days and you’ll get a picture on how active you are and what steps (haha) you should take to improve your health. This initiative comes from Halton Region, Get Into It.
