Breast Cancer Support Services

Canadian Diabetes Association offers support for diabetes patients. Nearest support centre is in Brampton's William Osler Health Centre, phone: 905-796-4965 and Brampton Civic Hospital, phone: (905) 494-2120

Canadian Mental Health Association
promotes mental well-being for all ages, informs the general public and helps those in need and their families. The association resides at 388 Main St. East, Milton, Ontario, phone (905) 693-4270.

Choices 4 Health is a coalition of local groups and organizations working in Halton Hills promoting healthy eating, physical activity, stress management and smoke-free living. Projects they are running right now are: Fresh Food Box, Healthy Eating in Halton Schools, Youth Smoke-Free Network, Walk-On program.

Halton Region Health Department
deals with health issues concerning specifically Halton community, such as changes to drinking water, immunizations, cold alerts and much, much more.

Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills is a non-profit organization offering free services to cancer patients. The services include transportation, equipment and supplies, child care allowance, wigs and more. The association is located at 222 Mountainview Road North, Georgetown, phone number 905 702 8886.

Halton Aphasia Centre helps adults with aphasia to develop communication skills, reduce their social isolation and improve their quality of life. Also provides respite to caregivers. Programs run once a week. For more information call 905-702-5312 or 1-866-204-4044.

We are a non-profit organization that provides adults with aphasia an opportunity to develop and practice communication skills in a stimulating & challenging environment, reduce their social isolation and improve their quality of life. This also provides respite to caregivers. Our programs run once a week. Volunteers are always needed.
