Seniors Programs: Meals on Wheels - hot nutritious meals at noon, Monday to Friday, to seniors and the disabled.

Transportation provided to a local restaurant or venue. Phone: 905-873-6502 Home Help - provides assistance with laundry, vacuuming and cleaning, supporting seniors and adults with disabilities to be able to remain in their own home. Phone: (905) 873-6502 Home Maintenance - provides help both inside and outside of the home to seniors and disabled persons. Jobs could include: yard maintenance, snow shoveling, painting, window washing, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and seasonal housecleaning. North Halton: (905) 873-6502 South Halton: (905) 844-0252 Telephone Assurance - a scheduled phone call to ensure that all is well. Phone: (519) 853-3310 Friendly Visiting - a community support service which brings volunteer "visitors" to the homes of isolated or lonely individuals. North Halton: (905) 873-6502 South Halton: (905) 844-0252 Letter Carriers Alert - provides a routine check by Halton Hills letter carriers. If a registrant’s mail is not attended to, Links2Care staff will notify the emergency contact provided on the intake form. A joint effort between Georgetown postal workers and Links2Care. Acton: (519) 853-3310 Georgetown: (905) 873-6502 Client Intervention and Assistance - this program provides support for seniors who may be at risk due to a critical change in their life situation. This may include homelessness, bereavement or isolation. Staff will meet with seniors and/or caregivers to offer information regarding programs and services. Referrals may also be made to other agencies in an effort to create a sustainable plan, until the situation is stabilized. Phone: 905-873-6502 Supportive Housing Program- provides essential services to seniors living in the seniors' apartment building at 17 Elizabeth Drive in Acton. Personal support workers are on site daily to assist residents with their personal care and activities. These may include bathing, dressing, medication reminders, light housekeeping and laundry.
