Traditional Canada Day celebrations in Glen Williams and Acton will be another family-oriented event with tons of activities not just for kids, but for people of all ages.

Here is what's going on Canada Day in the Glen:


8-11 am Pancake breakfast in the park
10 am
Baseball game -  Glen Williams  against Glens People
10 am - 3pm At the playground - tots activities and fish pond
10 am - 3pm Face painting
10 am Historical walking tour - The Glen Mills
Noon Canada Day parade. The parade begins at Alexander and Confederation Streets and ends at St. John's United Church
1 pm Opening ceremonies, Citizen of the Year Award, cake cutting
1:30pm The Mock Trail Band: Pop and Rock
2:25pm Brian Gauci
3pm Ian Reid
3:35pm Nabi Loney
4:15pm Through The Black
1:30pm Ball game - Bantam Teams
1:30pm Strawberry tea for seniors at Glen Williams Town Hall
1:30pm Lawn Bowling Demonstrations - Back Ball Diamond
2pm Children's games
2pm Demonstrations Rampulla's Martial Arts
2:30pm Pizza Eating (Toppers) contest by the bleachers at the Main Diamond
3pm Glen Pet Show at the back diamond
3 pm Halton Hills Fire Department demonstration
4 pm Duck race
